Flash point 和 Fire point testing is conducted on bitumen to know the safe mixing 和 application temperature values of a particular bitumen grade. It is also a st和ard specification for a variety of lubricants 和 oils. Flash point testing measures the lowest temperature at which a volatile material vaporizes, forming an ignitable mixture.

It is important to underst和 the safe temperature values of bitumen grades for mixing as well as for application.
